A private, one-to-one Somatics assessments is the quickest way to start the re-education of your brain and eliminate pain. Our aim is to restore muscle function, improve freedom of movement, and eliminate your particular pattern of learned muscular pain.
The first one and a half hour Somatics assessment will include:
After the initial sessions, subsequent Progressive Sessions of one hour will build on the previous session’s improvement. The goal of these sessions is to teach you to restore easy, comfortable freedom of movement, and to teach you the tools to take care of yourself.
Most conditions can be resolved within 4-6 sessions, whereas more severe conditions (scoliosis and certain cases of trauma) may require more sessions.
In order to learn to improve yourself using the learning tools we provide, you need to be committed to participating in the self-care routine to ensure optimum results and long-term improvement.
Workshops are the best way to maintain the changes and improvement you make in your muscle function, body awareness, and movement once you have learned to reverse your Sensory Motor Amnesia.
Your experience is important to us. Here are some friendly suggestions to help us create great experiences and happy atmosphere during your appointment
BE ON TIME
Please allow sufficient time to find our studio, park and prepare for your assessment. See the Google map at the bottom of the page.
BE COMFORTABLE
Because you will be moving during the sessions, you should wear loose, comfortable clothing for ease of movement (no jeans, skirts, or dresses).
BE PREPARED
Please ensure that you know the medications you are currently taking and prepare a brief summary of any existing medical conditions.
BE COMMITTED
After the assessment, I will prepare you a self-care routine. Daily practice is vital to long-term pain relief and efficient movement.
BE PATIENT
Most conditions are resolved within 4-6 sessions, while more severe conditions (scoliosis and certain cases of trauma) may require more sessions
BE HYDRATED
It may not cross your mind but making sure you’re well hydrated before you arrive is really important, especially in hot conditions

I am at the start of my journey with Lynn but I can say that she has been absolutely amazing so far. For the first time in 9 years I have hope that I might be able to live life with a little less chronic pain. She is warm, friendly and responsive to all my questions and has been able to identify the root issues. She is encouraging me to stay the course so that I can reap all the benefits of Soma movement.

Had my first Somatics one to one yest and absolutely loved it. Just reaffirmed alot to me and also made me aware of some of which I didn't know how i was holding or carrying myself. Amazing stuff indeed!! And saw and felt a noticeable difference just after one session, not only physically but also in my subtle energy body aswell. And for me the work can only truly ever be done by myself (with help and guidance from others) and Lynn was gr8 at helping show and guide me to what I needed to do and feel. Excited and feel very committed to keeping these exercises up after how much I felt yest. "If you can Sense it, Feel it, You can Change it"

Over the years I have suffered from all the usual physical ailments that are supposed to be due to ageing; aching back, sciatica, limp, joint pains & developing a stoop! I tried more physical wellbeing techniques than most & experienced results ranging from fairly effective to non effective. SOMATICS is the only method I believe to be VERY effective. I dont understand why Somatics is not more widespread, maybe because we have our free NHS where its not even available.
The principles are obvious, its simple and it worked for me & others I know who suffered with nerve pain. I am now 70 , I practice it regularly and have not had any pains since I started 2 years ago. Thanks to Lynn .

My daughter Ashleigh was modelling in a local fashion show and theres lots of photos of her in the local magazine. She wouldnt have been able to do that without all your hard and inspiring somatic work to correct her pidgeon toed walk !
